Managing Director- Martin Boniface (0418180780)

Martin Boniface started his Business in 1984 as Boniface Services in Townsville. Since that time, Martin has nurtured his Electrical Service Company and grown it into the very successful, Multi-faceted Business that it is today. Martin’s main focus has recently moved onto the establishment and growth of BonTech as he strives to cater for our Rural Customers technical needs and achieve some of his Research and Development goals with products such as “SPILLA” and “Agmon”.

Martin remains heavily involved with Bonlec and keeps a close eye on it’s performance through his General Manager, Keith Hastie.

General Manager- Keith Hastie (0407377466)

Keith Hastie has worked for Bonlec since March 1994 where he started in Townsville as a Service Electrician. Keith moved to Cairns in September 1994 where he played an integral part in the formation of the Bonlec Cairns Branch and served as the Cairns Branch Manager until 2007. During his time in Cairns, Keith gained a thorough working knowledge in HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Airconditioning) Controls systems from Electronic/Analogue systems right through to our Modern Building/Electrical Management Systems (BMS/EMS) Bonlec support today.

In October 2007, Keith was promoted to Bonlec General Manager and transferred to Townsville at the beginning of 2008 to take up his role at Bonlec Head Office, 283 Ingham Road. Keith is involved in the operations of all Bonlec Branches and ensures Company values instilled by Martin Boniface are continued in each Branch to maintain Customer Satisfaction and Company Performance.

Townsville Manager – Chris Cook (0413 620 333)

Chris Cook came to Bonlec with an Electrical trade qualification along with multiple complimentary post trade certifications with a background in Facilities Management, Switchboard Design-Construction, & Building Management Systems/Controls. Since starting with the company in 2010 he has developed a Distribution Switchboard Capability to compliment the Controls/mechanical Services Switchboard business Bonlec had developed previously.

Uppermost in Chris Cook’s priorities is to supplement & protect the enviable service model Bonlec has established in the 25-plus year history of the company. Bonlec have grown significantly whilst working with local & remote Mechanical Services companies to deliver a multitude of projects and solutions in all proportions to end users.

Along with our traditional service sector, we are increasingly applying our skillbase & resources to growing opportunity in the Energy monitoring & conservation sector.

Cairns Manager – Dean Galbraith (0419 677 851)

Dean Galbraith started with Bonlec in June 1998 as a Service Electrician and quickly established himself as a dedicated and very competent Controls Technician with all of Bonlec’s HVAC Controls Systems and peripherals. Through his hard work and dedication to Bonlec, Dean was promoted to be Cairns Branch Manager in 2007 and has been responsible for taking his Branch from strength to strength in what has been a very difficult period for our Industry.

Because of Dean’s enthusiasm and willingness to provide great service to our many and varied Clients, he has continued to foster and grow great relationships in his region with Customers, Consulting Engineers and Suppliers alike.

Mackay Manager – Luke Philips (0407 751 592)

Luke was employed by Bonlec in April 2001 when he began his time with us as a young labourer with Bonlec Batteries.

Whilst working under the Bonlec Batteries banner, Luke attended and successfully completed night schooling to obtain year 10 and 11 passes to enable him to begin an Electrical apprenticeship with Bonlec. Luke successfully completed his Electrical Apprenticeship and became a very committed and competent tradesman.

In March 2009, Luke moved to Mackay to bolster the staffing levels in the region and was promoted to Mackay Manager in August 2010 as a direct result of his hard work and great rapport with his Staff and Customer Base.
