What is Agmon?
Agmon is an internet connected remote agricultural equipment monitor. Its primary design function is to monitor the level of a water tank using a drop in pressure monitor and send an alert if the level drops below a predetermined level.

How does it work?
Agmon is installed by sitting the unit on top of a water tank or on a star picket driven into the ground. A pressure sensor is then lowered into the tank until it hits the bottom. This is then plugged into a socket on Agmon. The unit is switched on and from that point it will monitor the water level on an hourly basis and store the water height or volume. Every day (once every 24 hours) it will send you an email and send you the last 24 hours of water level readings it had previously stored. It will also let you know what the battery voltage was to indicate that the solar charging system is functioning correctly. If at any time the tank level drops below a critical level Agmon will send an email and an SMS message to your phone.

What else can it do?
While its primary function is to monitor water tank levels, Agmon can also be used to monitor and send any other information needed. With the addition of other sensors it can be a weather station or monitor pump flow rates etc.

Where will it work?
Agmon will operate from anywhere in Australia. It can use NextG service if it is available, or else GPS/satellite where there is no NextG coverage.

We are currently developing a Web site to allow remote viewing of all your historical data with graphs and remote operation and program changes.

What does it cost?
The NextG version will be $2,000 including the pressure sensor and $30.00 per month.
GPS/satellite version will be $3,000 including sensor and 12 months usage, then $80.00 per month.
